My youngest apprentice Ienzo has expressed an urgent need to meet with me, of course I had granted his wish and told him he may come to my study at once, I wonder where he is.. and what it is that is so important he must speak with me right away.

-The child peeked into the study, slate hair almost falling out of his face. He walked in, taking a deep breath as he bowed before the ruler of his world. Nero was counting on him to get him this position in the castle. He had to do this. All he had to do was just stay calm and everything would be fine.-

I wanted to talk to  you about perhaps one of my friends being hired as a guard.

We can always use more security here at the castle, do you believe your friend is qualified for the position?

-it certainly wasn’t what he was expecting to hear from the remarkable young boy, he was sure it would be something pertaining to his recent research, carrying a stack of papers. He was certainly ready and willing to hear his proposition about this friend, he almost always gave Ienzo everything he wished for, loving him like his own-

Nero’s more than qualified, Lord Ansem. He’s smart and very strong and I’m sure he’ll get along fine. The only issue seems to be that he doesn’t want to wear a uniform and…he’s got a slight…problem when it comes to wearing one regardless.

-Ienzo had grown to the point where he’d want to understand others and not just science. His interactions first with Isa and later everyone else had given him that. Of course, there were things going on that Ienzo wasn’t sure if he could bring up with the ruler— superficially, the pet Zorua he was harboring. A lot more importantly, Ienzo’s private research into Xehanort’s memory.-

Why is that? I am sure we could work something out to accomadate him, if I have your word that he would be a welcomed and well abled addition to our ranks.

-he regarded him curiously, wondering about this friend of his, the uniform wasn’t a matter of urgent importance, simply of conformity with the position and recognition as a member of the castle guard, surely he could make an exception with just cause, for a friend of Ienzo’s in any case-

Perhaps it would be best if we arranged a meeting with this companion of yours, and see if he would be qualified.
